i love the idea of gift giving when it is done right. don't buy me a tie when I wear golf shirts to work. Buy me something small that shows me you are paying attention, a book by a childhood author, a CD from the band you don't like but I love, Get me a bowling ball with my name on it, not yours. Then it can be special.

Last year I got a gun my husband wanted. I guess I should have said I don't celebrate, or participate in Christmas.
